1960s Large Plywood and Perpex Floor Lamp by Temde Switzerland

Rare Space Age spherical floor lamp by Temde.

A functional light source and at the same time an imposing light object in the room.

The lamp consists of an arch-shaped wooden frame in which a sphere is virtually clamped. The frame is finished in black. The base is dissolved in a fine ring of wood.

The imposing diffuser sphere made of plastic can be adjusted in height and rotated. This is done by 2 oblong holes in the cheeks of the frame. 

When illuminated, the globe provides a soft, diffused light.

The lamp is in a good condition with small traces of use consistent wit it's age.
