Collector’s item! A wonderfull, Bauhaus desk lamp designed by Marcel Breuer for the Paris Exposition of 1925. He made a number of models for this exposition. The desk lamp is numbered, nr. 43 out of 100 total made. Brand mark of Marcel Breuer is inscripted on its base. Lamp is made of brass and a piece of black marble or stoneware is used on its base as well. It aged beautifully and has great patina all over…..Its shade is adjustable and can be moved higher and lower (see all images). Size: H 53,5 cm (if shade is put at highest point), Length shade 24,5, height shade 10 cm, deep / wide 10 cm, Base (lxwxh): 29 x 12 x 2,3 cm
