The S34 chair by Mart Stam for Thonet is a rare 1930s design featuring a chromed tubular steel frame, blue canvas upholstery closely matching the original Eisengarn fabric, and elegant wooden armrests. Marked by the maker, this vintage piece perfectly captures the era's minimalist style and craftsmanship.

S34 chair by Mart Stam for Thonet in blue canvas. with wooden armrests. This canvas fabric has almost exactly the same tone/color as the Eisengarn fabric that was used to upholster these chairs when they were first made / designed in the late 1920s; chromed tubular stem.
This chair is a tribute to the 1930's Blue B34 chair and is nowadays extremely rare to find. It has the makers mark according to this period and the fabric of the chair.
