CAR: INCL. FREE PARKING

The RDM site is large, companies and schools have different addresses. Choose the right address and park your car in one of the nearby parking lots. From the A15 (Ring South of Rotterdam) take exit 18 Heijplaat. There are charging stations available (unfortunately not always available due to heavy use).

WATER TAXI

The fastest way to get from Rotterdam or Schiedam to RDM. From more than 50 jetty locations in Rotterdam and Schiedam. Reservations via 010 - 403 03 03 or via the website or the App can be downloaded via the Appstore. Price: depending on the boarding location between €5.50 and €10,- pp

For optimal accessibility of RDM/Heijplaat, the Watertaxi maintains a peak hour water taxi service from the city. This runs on weekdays between the Hotel New York stop, the Willemskade stop and the RDM/Heijplaat stop.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

There are several ways to get to RDM by public transport. We recommend planning your journey using Google maps and 9292. The 2 main options are:

By tram or metro to Marconiplein and the last part over water with the ferry service (approx. 20 min from Marconiplein). By bus or metro to Zuidplein or Slinge and then the last part with bus 68 (approx. 20 min from Zuidplein and 15 min from Slinge)

BICYCLE?

By bike? Cycle to Marconistraat/M4H, park your bike next to the boarding stop. Would you rather take your bike with you? Then take the bike ferry, during the morning and evening rush hour the boat sails on weekdays, every quarter between 7:00 and 9:30 and between 16:00 and 18:30.
This year an electric bicycle water taxi will be built to replace the current boat. From 2024 this connection will be completely emission free.
